The Inspiration for this Moombahton mix is Hip-Hop. Classics & Nu-Skool. I feel like Moombahton is gonna help Bridge the gap for EDM and Club/Dance Hip-Hop. With new artists like “Wale & Big Sean” already working with Diplo on Moombahton tunes (Slight Work), Add to that the surplus of Hip-Hop infused Moombahton Remixes coming out, And I feel we could very easily see some Moombahton tunes in the Hip-Hop clubs & Top 40 Charts in the near future, weather you like it or not. One of my favorite movies of last year, Pirate Radio – The Boat That Rocked. The Sound Track made the movie. I was inspired to make a mix cd of Edit’s from the movie soundtrack. But as time permitted, I was obligated to handle more important things like Dj Gigs to pay my rent and cell phone bill, and a New Crusher Sound System album. So I stopped progress after these 3 Edit’s. You may have heard a few of these tunes in recent Crusher Sound System live shows, or played live by your’s truley. I encourage you to pick up the Pirate Radio Soundtrack and check out the great movie.

Bonus Video: Pirate Radio – The Boat That Rocked (Movie Trailer) [Volume is really low on video]

Here is one i’ve had in my crates for a hot minute. I got booked to DJ a Roller Disco.  Anticipating the fun I was going to have.  I decided to make this Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll remix. it’s got some disco elements, as-well as some house, and B-more. I couldn’t wait to see the roller disco dancers doing such moves as the Disco Hop, the Round’n Down, the Roller Hustle, the Roll-a-Bump, and the Loose Goose to my tune.  BUT the gig got canceled. So now I just drop the tune at Private Cooperate Party’s (Please See Video Below- It’s a doozy – I didn’t Know Suits Can Move Like That) and I drop it at the club erry once in awhile when the party is crackin and the people are drunk.
